A community where kids and families can connect, explore, and play — with their needs, interests, and strengths in mind
Wonder Stream
Where Adventure Flows and Wonders Never Stop
Weekends can be some of the hardest hours to fill for families with neurodiverse children. While other families are bouncing from sports to gymnastics to park district classes, families that have a child with support needs often end up splitting up, or staying home all together. And it’s not because their kids lack interest in activities — it’s because they lack support.
That’s why we created Wonder Stream™ — to offer engaging classes and hands-on activities for neurodivergent kids and their families outside of the school week. More importantly, we wanted to provide families a safe space to build connection and community.
Through thoughtfully designed classes that rotate by theme and special interests, we create supportive environments where kids can explore, create, and experience joy at their own pace. Each class is supported by a trained team of pediatric therapists and instructors who understand neurodiversity and individual support needs. With predictable routines, visual schedules, and sensory-friendly spaces, Wonder Stream™ removes barriers to participation that exist within most extracurricular activities, and gives parents the comfort of knowing their child is safely engaging in experiences that foster confidence, connection, and curiosity.
Because every child deserves the chance to let their wonders flow and their magic unfold
Classes to Explore
Build the Brain is a movement-based class designed to support how the neurodivergent brain grows, organizes, and communicates. Using intentional strength, balance, and coordination exercises, this class helps the brain build new neural connections that support language, body awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence. Classes are led by trained fitness instructors in collaboration with pediatric therapists (SLP, OT, PT), ensuring every activity is both developmentally informed and engaging for kids.
Lights, Camera, Sound! is a fun, supportive class designed for kids who love movies, music, and theater. Using familiar movie clips, songs, and sound effects, students explore emotions, movement, and creativity in a relaxed yet structured environment. Each week features a movie-inspired theme with music, performance, and interactive activities. Class is led by an instructor, in collaboration with an SLP, OT, and/or RBT.
Art & Animation is a creative class where kids become artists, explorers, and storytellers. Kids use drawing, painting, crafts, and simple animation techniques to explore textures, tools, and materials in a supported way. Every class is a new “quest” with a rotating theme that takes us to outer space or the jungle — giving kids the opportunity to use their imagination and create something special through art! Class is led by an instructor in collaboration with pediatric therapists such as an SLP, OT, PT, or RBT.

The Wonder Circle
The Wonder Circle is our community group for The Wonder Stream™, with the goal to foster connection and support among Neurodiverse families. With parent workshops rotating by topic, an educational hub of resources, and local social events, the path that many neurodivergent kids, their parents, and their siblings are on becomes a little less lonely and a little more joyful.
